Your Irreplaceable Love
To a woman that has always been so remarkably patient, who showed us love and full of kindness – always giving and never expected anything back.
You have dedicated your life to us, your love is irreplaceable and losing you was an incredibly painful experience. You patiently held on Mum for so many days and all you wanted to hear from me was to tell you to let you go, which I finally did.
You are now in Paradise – no more pain, no more suffering – everlasting rest, eternal peace. We all love you very much Mummy!
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”.
– 2 Timothy 4:7
Roy & Melina, 03 March 2016
A Mother-in-law who only has kind words for me all the time. “Oh, you look very pretty today.” Oh, that’s a beautiful dress.” “Happy Birthday, dear (accompanied by a big red packet).” “Tmr is your Wedding Anniversary, how are you both celebrating it, my dear?”
A Woman so kind and loving, that my own immediate family is endeared. Her in-law, my dad, stayed at the hospital for long periods of time to ensure she’s well taken care of. He guided the younger generation together in prayer for her, and spoke to her loving words of letting go before her final journey to heaven. My mum, sis, bro, and even my bro’s girlfriend, visited her at the hospital and on other occasions like her birthday. How many in-laws in this world stick their necks out for each other? They did this partly out of love for me, but I know it is also hugely because of her genuinely generous and loving ways towards others.
Thank you Mum, for showing me the way. I may not be 10% of You, but simply by having You in my life, I am definitely a better me than 22 years ago. Will miss You and Dad dearly.
Christina, 03 March 2016
